Today's Medical Industry

I recently had to have outpatient surgery for a tonsillectomy. This is what I woke up with!

At first, I thought that this was an indictment on our medical community. You know, one of those cases where you go in for a simple tonsillectomy and instead the surgeon made a mistake and performed plastic surgery to turn my "hobbit feet" into beautiful feminine feet.

But, I had to stand corrected since my throat was hurting and all: obviously they had taken away my tonsils. It is then that I realized that in today's economy, private clinics are looking for that edge, which will get them customers. I was not aware of it, but apparently the clinic I went to, was having a special: cut out your tonsils and while you are under anesthesia, you get a free pedicure.

Actually, this is the handy work of Brandi M., my good friend and surgical technician on my case, who thought it would be funny to have her co-worker paint my toes while I was under. I'll get you back, Brandi ... I'm not sure how yet, but I'll get you back!

That is hilarious. You should rock that at SEBTS. Maybe add a toe ring and a flower design on the big toe.

Yeah... umm... no comment.

I can now see that the transformation is complete. First a pink shirt and a murse and now this. In all seriousness, your feet look...well...pretty. :)

Ha, ha, only Brandi would have thought of it :) You are really lucky she didn't put the "bling" on there as well!

Meagan - Actually, my first question when I saw my feet was: "Where is the bling?"

Theron - Transformation ... that's not fair ... I had nothing to do with Brandi's folly, even though I can't say that about Cindy, apparently she know ahead of time that Brandi had mischievous plans.

Bonnie - Welcome, I didn't know you checked my blog.

Alan - you're left speechless ... that's impossible!

Translation:

If Brandi had shaved your foot hair, one could have thought that they were Cindy's feet ...

When I saw the picture, without reading the text, I immediately thought "those are Cindy's feet, it's weird that Brandi has not put bling on the big toe," then I saw the hair ... I then figured out that they could not have been hers and I read the text! I understand now why Cindy was laughing when I called to get an update on you and you were not fully awake!

Wow... What more can be said then that. Wow! You know, I just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy recently, and I must have missed the painted toes on Frodo and his friends. It's really starting to make sense to me now. Sam carried what looked like,to me anyways,a murse. You could start a whole new Hobbit fashion line. With the murse and pretty toes and all.

I've recently begun checking your blog. I linked it on mine and Brian's blog (where I open my big mouth and get into all sorts of trouble) and having that list at my fingertips helps me remember to check great blogs like yours. =)

Just wondering, how long do you plan on keeping your pedicure? Toe polish lasts forever, and even longer if you wear sandals. =)

You're very brave to post this! ;) When I first saw the picture, I thought you were letting us know that you were related to the blogger known as "Grace".

Oh, and thanks for translating your mom's comment if for no other reason than for me to learn that "il brillante sull'alluce" can be translated as "bling"!

Now I know why God moved me away from you people. ;)

That's some seriously mean stuff right there. And your wife knew about it in advance? Definitely Category 5 on the payback scale.

Dude that looks so bad! Hairy feet with pink toes. I think I won't eat for the next few months. I will give my Wii Fit a break

Y'all will be glad to know that last night Brandi M. performed reversal "surgery" on my toes and they are back to normal!
